As an American, I have a weird soft spot for Skodas. Audi is pretentious VW, while Skoda is the opposite of that.

Also they sabatoged German guns that they were forced to manufacture in WWII. Or so the story goes....

Why take that risk when you can import a 'similar' but RWD (and rear engine) Skoda legally for less money? It's even brownish.
